Flexible Busbar Copper Soft Connection

This copper soft connector is welded by two large-thickness copper plates (bus bar and equipment connection part) and the middle multi-layer copper skin. It is mainly used for soft connections between copper bars and generator sets, transformers, and other sizeable conductive equipment such as Power Supply Box, and Electrical Enclosure Box. The quality of its welding will directly affect the regular operation of the conductive system, its safety performance, and its service life.

Before welding, both sides of the weld seam on the surface of the workpiece and the oxide film, oil, and other dirt on the surface of the welding wire will be cleaned to avoid defects such as pores and slag inclusions. There are mainly two cleaning methods, namely chemical cleaning and mechanical cleaning.

Since the soft part of the copper bar is composed of multiple layers of copper skin, a unique fastening tool will be made before welding to facilitate the assembly of workpieces, the alignment and fastening of copper skins, and the flipping of workpieces to prevent groove size happen.
